I know this is probably a dumb question but what is a good price for a wii and what accessories am I going to need to buy to add to it? I think we are the only ones who don't have one and maybe I should get one. Not sure I want the temptation to play games all day though!!

For a Wii, $249.00 is the best price. Prices have not come down at all since their release, probably due to the fact that Nintendo keeps the supply limited. The Wii will come with one Wii remote controller and one Nunchuk, and one game - Wii Sports. Additional remotes are $40 and nunchuks are $20, but you can find them on sale for less. Initially we purchased an extra nunchuk and Wii Play ($50) which comes with an extra remote, so at least two people could play together. We have since added a third set, so that everyone in the family has their own controllers, which is nice but usually not necessary. Games generally range from $20 up to $50, but it was a year before we added any more games. Still like to play tennis and bowling on the Wii Sports and DD loves the target shooting on Wii Play!

I bought it for $78 or so at Sams Club last year. It came to $83 even with tax. I don't think it's a set price like the Wii system unless something happened at Sams that day. It's worth looking.
