It's YMMV because one rings up as $6.79 and the other one rings up as 20¢ (at least at my Walgreens). It's not truly a B1G1 free. The ad should say "buy one at $6.79, get the second one for only 20¢." Because of this, I think the Walgreens ad is a little bit misleading. But Walgreens can get away with it as it advertises them "Sale! 2/6.99", and both product cost $6.99.

I believe they are aware of this tactic. And they probably due it to deter customers from using B1G1 free coupons to buy up all of the product on the first day of the sale. At least, this makes sense to me.

I know at my Walgreens, the cashier just takes off $3.50 instead of the full $6.99.

its interesting to note that the Glade 2/6.99 is ringing up different ways in different stores.

at ours, its 6.99 and 0.00 and takes the BOGO IP with no problem. register also takes $4 and $3 MQ so both come out free. while there are stores where it is reportedly ringing up 6.98 and .01 and cashiers write .01 on the BOGO IP thus not making 2 free. while at others its 3.50 and 3.49 taking 2 coupons - $3 or $4 and the BOGO IP.

the Revlon make up is also BOGO this week and its ringing up full sale price for both and takes off the free at end of receipt. thus allowing 2 coupons to be used for free plus overage if used on the clearanced items.
