Cheaper From Scratch: Jewelry Cleaner

Years ago I purchased some jewelry cleaner and then at some point, when it was gone, I just didn’t want to spend the money to buy it again.
.
Isn’t it wonderful that we can Google pretty much anything and come up with a solution (no pun intended)?
.
Here is a recipe that really works and it’s made from things I already had sitting around my house.
.
Jewelry Cleaner
.
Put a small square of aluminum foil in the bottom of a small bowl
Add 1 C of HOT water (microwave water for a couple of minutes to get hot)
Add: 1 T dish soap; 1 T baking soda; 1 t salt and stir gently
.
Put your jewelry in for 5-10 minutes and voila – sparkly clean! I use an old toothbrush around the diamond in my wedding ring to get it extra clean.
