Breakfast. Yum. I love breakfast, but I’ve noticed that a lot of options have a TON of sugar in them. Look at all of the cereal boxes or even frozen pre made breakfasts. There is a lot of sugar! The trick to eating a healthier breakfast is to have a sugar free base and then add healthier options on top. For example, you could make a sugar free waffle, pancake or crepe recipe and then add in fruits, cinnamon and greek yogurt instead of syrups and sugars. Have you ever had waffles or crepes with yogurt instead of syrup? It’s so good! Start YOUR day out right with these Sugar-Free Breakfast Ideas:

The temperature is heating up and my kids have been begging for popsicles. I’m not a huge fan of popsicles but rather, fudgesicles! We love to enjoy the store bought ones but the money saver in me came out and I found some yummy homemade fudgesicles that cost a fraction of what you would pay in the store. Here’s 4 different ones I’m sure you’re families are going to love!
Homemade Fudgesicles
3 cups milk
1 cup cream
1 1/4 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
2 Tbsp cornstarch
Mix ingredients over the stove (leave out the cornstarch) until it just starts to bubble. Add cornstarch and stir until all is dissolved. Fill your popsicle container and freeze.
Rootbeer Float Popsicles
Rootbeer
Vanilla Ice Cream
Start with ice cold rootbeer (you can place it in the freezer for a short time or make sure it’s been in the fridge overnight). Then simply layer inside your popsicle mold, ice cream and rootbeer. Put them in the freezer overnight.
Quick & Easy Fudgesicle
1 box Instant Jello Chocolate Pudding (4 servings)
2-2/3 cups milk
This is a simple recipe and whips together quick. Just combine both ingredients and fill in your popsicle mold. (Note: this is more milk than the box calls for but will help you pour into your molds easily). You can use this same recipe for other flavors as well!
Strawberries and Cream Popsicles
4 cups strawberries
3 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp sugar (or honey)
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Combine your strawberries, water and sugar in a sauce pan and simmer for about 5 minutes until strawberries become soft. Let cool, then puree. Whip the cream and vanilla together for 2 minutes to make soft. Fold in your strawberries and pour into your molds.
Have you been doing a lot of laundry these days? I don’t understand why, but it seems like I am doing laundry double time these days. Maybe it’s because we are working outside so much or maybe it is because we are exercising more than ever, but I really didn’t expect to be so busy doing laundry with 4 out of the 5 of us rarely leave the house!
I’ve decided that with all of my time at home, I am going to put some effort into changing my habits and turning myself into more of a minimalist. Less stuff, less worry and less time spent on doing the same things over and over. I have learned how to significantly save time on laundry with these tips.
One of the easiest ways that you can save time on laundry is by sorting it before you wash it. Ideally, you would have a sorting system for when clothes go into the laundry. If it is pre-sorted, it makes it so much easier to just grab them and toss them in the washer on laundry day.
Additionally, while you do need to sort clothes by color to some degree, it is also a good idea to sort your laundry by weight. If you have a large amount of clothing that is lightweight, you can fit more into your machine.
If you didn’t know it yet, you really shouldn’t wash jeans too often. Washing them too often can wear out the denim. Ideally, you should wash your jeans after every 3 wears.
To make your laundry duties a little easier, put it on your schedule. If you have it worked into your schedule and you follow said schedule, you are less likely to end up with a backload of laundry. It’s much easier to do laundry when you have just a couple of loads, rather than a room full.

As much as bonuses remain an important factor when choosing a casino, lately, they have been getting a bad reputation. Many operators take advantage of players through bonuses, and some players have lost faith in their usefulness. Luckily, the arrival of the no deposit bonus is turning things around for the better.
The dream casino bonus for slots enthusiasts is the no deposit free spins bonus. With this bonus, you get to play and win real money without making any financial commitment. Good no deposit casinos are more challenging to find because they are less widespread and also due to the presence of numerous scam operators. However, these tips will help you evaluate no deposit casinos to find the right one for you.
The criteria for choosing a casino are fundamentally the same, whether a regular one or a no deposit one. You should only invest your time and money in a casino that guarantees safety and fair play.
Licensing is indispensable when choosing a casino. Gambling authorities generally require casinos to adhere to regulatory terms as well as independent audits of their RNGs. Every licensed casino may not be a good casino, but every good casino is a licensed casino. The availability of reliable payment methods is also crucial to ensuring that your funds and bank details are handled securely.
No deposit free spins come with wagering requirements and other conditions, so make sure to read through the bonus policy thoroughly before making your decision. The nature of the no deposit bonus is more advantageous to the player. In the bid to make up for this, many operators attach ridiculous wagering requirements to them. These conditions end up making the bonus unprofitable to the player. Only accept wagering requirements that you are confident you can handle.
While appearance should not be the main factor when choosing a no deposit free spins casino, a higher number of bonus spins on offer will increase your chances of winning. Where other factors are equal, go for a casino with a more significant number of bonus spins.
A no deposit free spins bonus on your favorite slot title will add value to your gaming experience. There are several popular slots for free spins such as Starburst, Book of Dead, Cleopatra, and Gonzo’s Quest. These games are the go-to for bonus spins because they are simple to play, and most casino gamers find them enjoyable. Also, embedded features like wilds, scatters, multipliers, and retriggering free spins in these slots increase the potential for big wins.
In addition to no deposit free spins, the best no deposit casinos will also offer other forms of welcome bonuses that you can benefit from. Match deposit bonuses are common for new customers. Don’t forget to look at the bigger picture – existing customer bonuses like cash reloads, cash backs, and no wagering bonuses will make for a profitable experience in the long run.
This is simply the maximum amount you can withdraw as winnings using the no deposit free spins. Some casinos set cash out limits very low. In the event that you get lucky and hit the jackpot, you will be unable to claim the full amount. Make sure to consider these limits when choosing a no deposit free spins casino.
They say that first-hand experience is the best kind. Well, in a high-risk industry like this one, second-hand experience can be your saving grace. Besides, you can’t try out every single online casino site, so reviews come in quite handy. Numerous sites on the internet are dedicated to reviewing casinos based on personal experiences. A good no deposit free spins casino will have mostly positive feedback.
With online casinos, one size doesn’t fit all. You have to find the perfect casino for your gaming needs. Take advantage of these tips and start enjoying no-risk gambling now.
How is your budget looking these days? Is it stretched thin? Have you been trying to figure out the best tips for making it stretch further? These are tough times, which means that many of us are worried about doing the same thing.
Our grocery budget specifically has been extremely strained lately, with the kids home so much and growing fast. That’s why I am focused on getting our meal budget under control. If you are wanting to do the same, check out these cheap dinner ideas that will help you stretch your budget.
Rice and beans are cheap, cheap, cheap! This can easily be an untruth if you are buying pre-made rice dinners, of course. What I am talking about is bagged rice and dry or even canned beans. You can make a delicious meal out of both and they can literally create a delicious meal for just a few cents per serving.
Breakfast for dinner can be super cheap! Specifically, a breakfast of eggs and oatmeal is super cheap! I buy bulk oatmeal for just $0.62 per pound, and eggs are always cheap. My family loves breakfast for dinner.
Sandwiches are a great dinner choice because they are super cheap and oh so quick! Literally, you can make sandwiches in minutes. Plenty of sandwich fillings can be really cheap. You can add a salad, cold veggies, crackers, or just about anything as a side.
You can make soup out of just about anything! It’s always easy to end up leftovers when you have soup too!
What is your typical dinner around the table with your family? What is your favorite budget friendly dinner idea?

The other day we talked about some of the easiest vegetables to grow for those of us who are new to gardening. I only touched on 3 different veggies the other day, so I decided to talk about a couple more! I mean, we want more than 3 different options in our garden, right?
So let’s move on and chat, shall we? Here are even more vegetables that are easy to grow if you are new to gardening.
Okay, so here’s the thing. I know that some people think that growing tomatoes is super easy, and some think it is just the opposite. I happen to fall into the latter. I have tried to grow tomatoes 3 different times and this year is the FIRST TIME EVER that I have seen any success. Of course, we aren’t far enough into the season to actually harvest, but my plants are growing enthusiastically and there are lots of blooms already.
I simply read some tips and chatted with people that I know that have seen success. I think as long as you follow a few simple tips, it can be easy.
Spinach is very similar to lettuce. It grows easily and quickly.
Green beans provide an abundant harvest and a quick growing time. Green beans also tend to be a kid-favorite garden vegetable. So, if you are gardening with your kiddos, this one is a great choice!
Do you garden? What is your favorite thing to grow in your garden? What have you found to be the easiest plant to grow? What tips do you have for a new gardener? We would all love to hear any tips that you have.
Happy Gardening, my friends!
Breakfast is always the hardest for me. I love the waffles, pancakes, donuts and juices. One easy way to eat healthier at breakfast is to have a healthy breakfast smoothie. It’s easy and can be an on the go breakfast option as well. Here are 4 recipes that are the perfect breakfast choice.
You could buy the ingredients and have one every day of the week. You might just get your family hooked too. Enjoy!
We’re wrapping up the school year here where we live and I can’t help but think about all the changes our teachers have had to go through. We have been blessed with some amazing teachers that made the transition from school to learning at home so easy for my kids. So I wanted to give them one finally thank you as I’m sure many of you do to! Here’s a list of some simple ideas you can throw together for your children’s school teachers this year!
Hands Down You Were The Best Teacher Ever – easily trace your child’s hand and write the saying inside. Then either wrap around some hand sanitizer (if you happen to have any) or some soap. (I thought this was so fitting for the time we’re living in)
I’m Bursting with Happiness That You Were My Teacher – you could put together a fun sunshine book with this saying (including all things in yellow packaging like wet wipes, clorox wipes, m&m bag, chap stick, etc) or buy a bag of starburst for it to go with.
Nacho Average Teacher Gift Basket – Put together a nacho kit basket with chips, nacho cheese jar and salsa. You could even buy chili’s chips and salsa to put together with this saying as well.
Thanks To You I’m One Smart Cookie – bake a batch of yummy cookies, make a giant cookie or buy a pack from the store. All are great ideas to give your teacher this year.
Simply the Best – Buy a bottle or two of the Simply Lemonade (they have smaller sizes as well as larger ones you can choose from with a bunch of flavors) from the grocery store and add a cute tag that reads, you are simply the best! Quick easy and something they can all enjoy.
Spring is upon us and for many of us, we are spending all of our time safe at home. So, what are you going to do with all of your time? Have you given much thought to gardening? I have recently started working on my garden this year and I am having such a wonderful time! I’ve had gardens before, but I still consider myself a newbie at gardening. I have found though that there are some veggies that are easier than others to grow.
If you are new to gardening too, these vegetables are easy to grow! Having success at the beginning of your gardening journey helps to motivate you to keep up with it. Check out this list for the easiest veggies to grow for gardening newbies.
Lettuce is awesome for new gardeners, because it grows so quickly! As a newish gardener myself, I love planting lettuce. It is so exciting when you plant something and see it sprouts just a couple of days later. The lettuce I recently planted literally sprouted in just 5 days.
If you are doing your gardening with kids, this is a great one to keep them interested.
Radishes are very popular vegetables for newbie gardeners to grow because they are so fast! Literally. They can go from sprout to full harvest in just 20 days. That is FAST!!!
Zucchini is my absolute favorite vegetable to grow. They do need warmth and lots of moisture. The great thing about this is that you can even be a procrastinator since later in the season is the best time to grow them. Once the squash starts to grow, it grows fast.
We love zucchini in our family and I have made so many delicious recipes with it!
Happy Gardening!
