CVS Trip: Back Up Plans Galore!

2011-07-13 July2011 048

I need to get back to CVSing.  It’s one of the best coupon games out there with their generous ECB expiration date and the ability to roll deals.

I received a glorious $5/25 CVS email Q today, which was awesome since I let my $5/30 one from last week expire on Sunday. <—Sad smile

I had big plans that involved 12 packs of diet coke and using my zyrtec raincheck…. Unfortunately they had all coke products in stock EXCEPT diet coke.  Seriously they are ALWAYS out of stock of the “regular diet” soda.  I have half dozen rainchecks for either diet Pepsi or diet coke stashed away…

And then of course the zyrtec was still out of stock. <—Hopefully they get more soon! I have coupons to use!

So luckily I took my own advice and had a couple back up plan ideas!

I also had a $3.50 in ECBs for the 2nd quarter and $1 ECB for using my bag tag.

This is what my order looks like:

  • 3 Nutrigrain $2.50
  • Complete Contact Solution $7.99
  • CVS Pull Ups $5.99 <—Raincheck
  • -5/25 Email Q
  • -$4.50 Ecbs
  • Total $19.16 OOP
  • Earned $7.99 ECB (complete) & $4 (Pull Ups)

So this trip “cost” me under $12 factoring in the ECBs used and earned.  Not bad for 2 packs of Diapers and 3 boxes of nutrigrain bars.

What did you end up buying at CVS this week?
