How to Protect Your Eyelashes
There are some things we tend to overlook. For example, we don’t even notice when our eyelashes are damaged, when they break or when they start to fall way too often. If you’re looking for ways to protect your eyelashes or thicken them, there are some tips and tricks that you can try.
If you want to have sensational eyelashes, you should take care of them, too. Using mascara or eyeliner too often may cause different problems in the future. And most products on the market don’t help either. But there are natural alternatives that are really worth a try.
The Mascara You Use
We all want bigger eyelashes; this is why we use mascara on a daily basis. Using mascara too often will only make our eyelashes be easier to break or fall. Mascara doesn’t do our eyelashes any good. Especially when it comes to waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascara is so hard to remove. It doesn’t matter what make-up remover you use; at the end, you’ll end up losing plenty of lashes in the process. You should be happy with what you have. Short lashes are better than none.
Natural Lash Products
There are lash serums and different other products made of natural ingredients. They stimulate the growth of your eyelashes, they protect the eyelashes from the cold and other factors that might damage them.
Stop Scratching Your Eyes
We tend to do this a lot. We scratch our eyes when we’re tired or when we feel we got something stuck in our eyes. We can irritate our eyes and lashes this way. Our hands also carry a lot of germs and this can cause conjunctivitis and it can result in losing some of your eyelashes. Why risk it? Try to avoid scratching your eyes and make sure to wash your hands frequently before touching the area where your eyes are.
The Pros and Cons of Wearing Fake Eyelashes
No matter how tempting wearing fake eyelashes can be there are some pros and cons you should take into consideration. Fake eyelashes can look so natural and beautiful. But the glue used can be bad for our natural eyelashes. And fake eyelashes bear some weight and they can make our natural eyelashes fall easily. You can wear fake eyelashes on special occasions, but try not to make a habit of this.
Special Combs
Groom your natural eyelashes. Comb them often. It will help you get rid of any small particles of make-up, dust etc. You will keep your eyelashes beautiful and thick.
Olive Oil and Vaseline
Both products deal with eyelash growth but results can be seen after a while. If you have the patience, use these products on your eyelashes before going to bed.
Vitamin E Is Your Friend
Eat products that are rich in vitamin E. You can also buy vitamin E lotion and rub it on your eyelashes. Vitamin E will lengthen your beautiful eyelashes and protect them from harm.
Green Tea
Even bags of green tea or cotton buds damped with green tea can do the trick. Place them on your eyelids and enjoy beautiful, thick eyelashes.
