The best way to get your deal is to make sure you are logged on @ Amazon and then you will click the link under the product and add the deal to your cart.. If the toy is NOT marked as a “lightning deal,” make sure it is the correct time for the deal. If it’s still not marked as a lightning deal you may have to click the lightning deal link.

If the deal is no longer available, it may give you the option of joining the waitlist. We had great success in getting our items (even when our chances said, “poor”) by using this waitlist. Here are details:

Joining a Waitlist

The “Join waitlist” button on a Lightning Deal indicates that all available promotional discounts have been placed in customers’ Carts, but that not all purchases have been completed. If purchases in customers’ Carts are not completed within 15 minutes, the promotional discount will be made available to the next customer on the waitlist. To join a waitlist:

1. Log in to your Amazon.com account.
2. Click the “Join waitlist” button on a Lightning Deal to place yourself on the waitlist to receive the promotional discount.
3. If you are the next customer on the waitlist, you will be notified when a promotional discount becomes available. An alert will display in the upper right-hand corner of your Amazon.com page. You will see that the deal is available to add to your Cart, and you will see the time remaining to do so.
4. You are now ready to claim the Lightning Deal. If you don’t add the deal to your Cart within the time limit, you will be removed from the waitlist.

If no additional spots are available on the waitlist, you won’t be able to click the “Join waitlist” button. If additional spots are made available, the button will return to its normal state and you can then click it to join the waitlist.
