Can you believe summer break is almost over? I know many that are headed back this week, it’s crazy. We still have a month before we’ll start the next school year but I’ve been getting my list of things to do together before that day comes! I always say, you can never be too prepared!
Backpacks and uniforms bought, washed and ready – We get new backpacks every year and with the awesome back to school deals we’ve been seeing it’s a great time to grab a couple. Morning routine – Don’t wait to long before getting your kids used to going to bed early and waking up early. I even recommend having their alarm go off and get starting on their morning routine (breakfast, dressed, bed made) before school starts. I can be quite the adjustment for their little bodies.
Bonus: I also print pictures out and number them of different hair styles we can do in my girls’ hair before school. When they’re ready to have their hair done, they just tell me the number and we get it done. Makes for a smoother and easier morning.
